Today we are introducing Soren. We are an AI-native firm, founded by a team of MIT engineers and backed by Y Combinator, that builds specialized AI systems tailored to how your organization actually works. We deploy them inside the environments you already trust, tuned to the context that makes your institution distinct.

The problem we started with

The market often asks serious institutions to rely on shared, general-purpose models that were never built for their operating realities. For a hospital, a law firm, or a bank, that trade-off does not hold up. The data, knowledge, and processes that matter most cannot leave the building, and the margin for error is thin.

So those institutions get stuck. They watch the technology improve, they know it could help, and they cannot find a responsible way to put it into a workflow that actually matters. The useful tools are not private enough, and the private options are not useful enough.

We started Soren on a simple conviction: organizations should not have to choose between using modern AI and protecting what makes them defensible.

What we believe

What we actually do

We are engineers, and we work alongside your team rather than handing over a slide deck. Most engagements begin with an AI Readiness Assessment, a one-week review of where automation would pay off, what your data looks like, and what your security posture requires. You come away with a ranked roadmap of high-ROI workflows whether or not you build them with us.

From there we design, deploy, and operate the system inside infrastructure you control, and we hand off documentation and training at whatever level of involvement you want. Pricing is flat-rate, not per-token, so the bill does not punish you for using the thing you paid to build.

We focus on regulated and mission-critical institutions: legal, financial services, healthcare, and government. These are teams where a wrong answer is expensive and trust is the whole game, which is exactly where context and control matter most.
